Welcome to White House Inn.  This sweet 3-bedroom house is located in the heart of Stockholm, just steps away from retail stores, galleries, food, and the sands of Lake Pepin/Mississippi River.

Built around 1870 AND 1990, the Victorian style house with lacy wood ornament (what Scandinavian's might call snickarglädje- which means "carpenter's happiness") has quite a story!  The house originates from Hastings, MN, where it was saved from demolition by Stockholm architect Tom Blanck.  The complete exterior, along with interior doors, were removed, transported by truck to Stockholm, and erected on a new base built in 1990.

For almost 30 years, it had been a summer retreat for its previous owner and now, it has been refreshed and made available for all to enjoy!
